Foodie Pilgrimage: Day One

I have some catching up to do. I left the farm a couple of days ago, spent two nights in beautiful Sevilla, and flew back to Barcelona yesterday. In an hour, Lee and Lauren and a couple of their friends and I are piling into Lauren’s car and heading to San Sebastian. Lauren booked a lunch reservation on Sunday at Mugartiz, which is considered one of the best restaurants in the world. This journey will be my foodie pilgrimage. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

I leave you with this video. Watch all five parts. Anthony Bourdain goes to a calcotada in the third part and visits San Sebastian (and dines at Mugaritz) in the third and fourth parts. I hope you find yourself searching for cheap flights to Spain after viewing. I’ll meet you for tapas, you just tell me when! At the very least it will make you drool.
